12. In those situations where it becomes necessary “to take things up a notch,” one must be willing and able to act swiftly and decisively. When one is standing alone, failure will most likely be absolute as allies and adversaries alike deem one unreliable and easy subdued. At the same time, once victory has been achieved, one must be willing to be magnanimous. Baring true fanatics, the defeated must be offered a chance to keep some past gains. Only take (or deprive) that which is necessary for continues success. Honor is respected. In the end, nothing will be gained by humiliating a worthy vanquished foe. One does not need more hatred
