Although one might contend that belief in one's own hype is more realistic than believing in the hype of someone else who does not represent you.
That's why its more dangerous. However, psychological warfare represents an attempt to project hype onto one's enemies. There is more than one hype, but believing one's own propaganda can lead to delusional thinking.
