Ideas are often mistaken for something real.

    Reality is assumed and can not be proven. Perception as expressed through language is thus burdened with semantics that in and of itself are social constructs. Violence, passion, and attention are thus derivative of the saliency of these social constructs; their importance is thus assumed as a result of their respective social impact & influence.
