A single picture can negate years of propaganda as was the case with this picture of an execution of a North Vietnamese prisoner. A government can talk and talk but imagery is almost always more powerful. Of course, the U.S. government has learned nothing. In Iraq, the pictures and the death is in real time. The entire world can watch the death unfold. Where will it lead?
